See “a whole new world” at the Morocco Pavilion in the Epcot Theme Park. You can read about the fascinating, Morocco Pavilion from Diva Viva, which tells a bit about the history of this very authentic Pavilion.

The sights and sounds are truly incredible and just across the Morocco Pavilion Buildings, by the Lagoon, is where you can meet the most famous couple of Agrabah, Aladdin and Princess Jasmine.
Canadian Diva’s Princess about to meet the Dynamic Duo. They sign autographs too! |
They are fun to meet, with Aladdin’s quirky and quick-witted sense of humor, while Princess Jasmine is beautifully poised in her “shining, shimmering, splendid”… bejeweled outfit.
Aladdin engages in a conversation with Memory Maker Diva’s son while Princess Jasmine signs his Vinlymation (great idea!!) |
Princess Jasmine and Aladdin will surely delight any fan of the Aladdin movies (yes, there are more, straight to video ones!) They appear throughout the day, check your Time’s Guide for when you can catch them.
Memory Maker Diva’s husband and adorable son, striking a pose with the Royal Couple! |
Princess Jasmine can also been seen at the “Princess Storybook Dining“, at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion, however she does not appear at every meal. We have met her for dinner once there, but the last time we had breakfast at Akershus, she was not one of the Princesses joining us for our morning meal**.
Diva Tip: I checked the Time’s Guide when we arrived at Epcot to see when the marvelous duo will appear. I lined up* at about 20 minutes before the time expected while my husband and daughter explored the Morocco Pavilion. It was great because we were the first ones to meet them and then we were able to enjoy the rest of our time at Epcot.
You can also meet Aladdin and Princess Jasmine at the Magic Kingdom in Adventureland, like Budget Diva’s family did. Princess Jasmine sometimes joins the Princesses for the Royal Princess Meal at Cinderella’s Castle**.*If you are the first one to be in line, make sure you ask a Cast Member, where the line begins. There is a sign but it is confusing where the sign is and where the actual line starts. If you get there and there are people already waiting, sure enough they are waiting for the Magical Pair!
Sometimes GENIE makes an appearance. Unfortunately our family has never seen the Genie at Epcot. Hopefully next time we go to WDW, we will get to meet him, and one of my wishes would be… another trip to Walt Disney World!
Budget Diva’s cute little ones, met Aladdin and Princess Jasmine at the Magic Kingdom in Adventureland. You can also take a ride on the Magic Carpet while you are there! |
**Is Princess Jasmine on your “must-see” list at Walt Disney World? You are not guaranteed to meet her at either of the Princess meals in Akershus or Cinderella’s Royal Table in the Castle. Also, Aladdin is not at the meals. Your best bet to meet this Royal Couple is to go to the Morocco Pavilion. Note: if it is raining, the Characters will not be able to greet anyone since the area is uncovered.
Thank you Memory Maker Diva for sharing some of your lovely photos of the Morocco Pavilion! |
