My Disney travel group normally consists of 2-3 adults, 1 or 2 teenagers, and a toddler. This can make a day at Epcot challenging because Epcot is not really designed around the world of a toddler. I am not saying there are not fun and exciting attractions for a toddler, and I am definitely not against taking a toddler to Epcot. The Character Spot meet and greet is great if the lines are not too long, Innoventions can be fun and there are a FEW rides toddlers are able to enjoy, but I feel Epcot is more enjoyable for adults and older children.
So let me tell you about a little tip I discovered on one of my trips to Epcot. While the bigger boys wanted to enjoy Mission Space, Test Track, and Soarin’ I took the little guy to ride Finding Nemo in the Living Seas area. He loved it but since the line was short I knew I had a lot of time to kill before meeting up with the rest of the group. I decided to take him into the aquarium. This turned out to be a great idea! For one it’s indoors and air conditioned and he was able to get out of the stroller and run around and there was so much for him to look at!
There are fish, sharks, turtles, manatees, and even dolphins. If you look close enough you might even find a hidden Mickey or two.
