Walt Disney World is the “Happiest Place on Earth”. But…when you entertain millions of guests each year; unfortunately that laughter does sometimes turn into tears…….
A valuable lesson: When in America, do as the Americans do…….
British people will grumble, gripe & grouse to one another; but more often than not won’t actually make any complaints!
An absolute age will be spent mithering (fussing) about a given situation, however normally most of us don’t deal with an issue right as it’s happening. Of course this isn’t because we don’t know how to complain – it comes as a result of not wishing to cause any unnecessary drama, draw attention to ourselves or heaven forbid; cause any embarrassment!
A great deal can be learnt from observing our American cousins…..they notify their hosts immediately of any concerns with the standard of a meal, the service, or the accommodation etc..etc..
If you have received anything less than you expected from Disney’s legendary flawless service, attention to detail or you just haven’t been impressed by the normally impeccable skills of Mousekeeping; then you MUST let a Cast Member know – pronto.
The majority of Cast Members love Disney & adore their jobs; most will genuinely go out of their way to make your stay completely magical; just as Walt intended!

“What ever you do, do it well. Do it so well that when people see you do it they will want to come back and see you do it again and they will want to bring others and show them how well you do what you do.” Walt Disney
This is my 39th trip to Disney since 1987. It’s Christmas morning 2017. The older man where you scan your magic band at Animal Kingdom was very rude and made demeaning comments, although it was his equipment that was not working correctly. His comments didn’t deserve a response, and since I didn’t respond, he asked if anybody was in there. Totally got my Christmas off to a bad start.
I’m sorry to hear that your morning at Disney got off to a bad start. We are fans just like you and would love to be at Disney on Christmas morning. I hope you day turns around, but with the high level crowds expected during this time of year I hope you packed your patience! Enjoy your trip and Christmas. If you have any other problems you feel need attention of Disney be sure to let Guest Services on property or your hotel Front Desk Staff know of any issues. Enjoy your trip.
My husband and i visited epcot in may of this year. we were very dissappointed. I thought it would have many new technical innovations of the future.Boy was i wrong. all it has is restaurants and gift shops. we did see three eighteen minute films on france, china and canada in three d,which was o.k.we paid 131.00 apiece plus 22.00 for parking.these prices are outrageous. I can’t imagine having several children and having to pay these prices.why in the world should they charge for parking when they charge such high admissions prices. What really made me upset was having my finger print taken when coming into the gate.If i hadn’t been with my husband i would of left then and there. when i bought these passes no on told me i would have my finger print taken. this is against my rights as a citizen. why do they need to do this?I’m telling all my family and friends not to waste their money on disney world. there are many other nicer vacation spots out there. also the price of food and drink are outrageous.I refused to buy food and drink the day i was there. I should of saved my money that day and gone to the beach.would of have more fun.
Mrs. Saltsman, I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy Epcot. While “Tips from the Disney Divas” is a fan site and not affiliated with the Disney Travel Company, I would love to hear any suggestions you have for improvement of this park.
I find today that there are no additional tickets to 8/19 Moonlight Madness @ Hollywood S. I have spent days planning this vacation around this event. I have called over 6 times inquiring about the announcement. I speak to the same (FANTASTIC)adviser Erin #251. I spoke to her about this ticket as recent as Tuesday Two days ago. I was told to wait for an email on the 30th. When I looked today it is sold out. This is really unbelievable. I have been Proactive, Erin knows me by voice. As of this response I still have not received an email. I called my Disney Rep. Andy Berry who said he could not help. This can’t happen. Somebody has to care
Thank you for contacting us, however you are going to want to contact DVC Member Services directly with your complaint as we are only a group of Divas and Devos who gives tips based on our experiences. You will want to contact Disney directly and give feedback to them. Thanks and enjoy your trip!
