First of all let me say we were VERY late getting to our 10:15 breakfast reservation at ‘Ohana at the Polynesian Resort.  We really thought we were going to miss our meal due to our tardiness, but when we arrived the cast member was incredibly understanding, told us not to worry and we would be seated shortly. This was wonderful news!! While we waited for our table we were all given Hawaiian leis and had our pictures taken in the special area. You are given the option to purchase a picture package, but it is not required.

Upon being seated our waitress arrived, introduced herself, and took our beverage order. The breakfast beverage choices are all you can drink milk, Stitch juice, coffee, or water.

Along with our beverages our waitress also brought out baskets of bread…delicious pineapple bread and sticky buns.

All food is served family style at ‘Ohana, beginning with the platter of seasonable fresh fruits. Next comes a large skillet filled with scrambled eggs, Island style fried potatoes, Hawaiian pork sausage, smoked bacon, and biscuits. The best part is that you are able to request seconds, or thirds, of any item on the platter. For those of you who just can’t do without your Mickey Mouse waffles, don’t worry, they are also served in a separate basket and you can have as many as you want! Remember that the chef can accommodate any food allergies if you need them to.

The characters who make an appearance at this meal are Lilo, Stitch, Pluto, and Mickey Mouse in his Hawaiian apparel. Even though we were late we were still able to have all characters come by our table for pictures and autographs….and a little fun!

The fun doesn’t stop there! They also do a parade through the restaurant and the children are allowed to choose a musical instrument and march in the parade. What a great thing for a child who is tired of sitting at the table!
This was a great meal, lots of fun, and delicious food! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who asked. It is a HARD reservation to get though, so I recommend making advanced dining reservations as soon as you can!
The breakfast is served daily from 7:30-11:00 am. The price varies through the seasons and ranges from $15-$35.99 per person.
Remember that if you are staying ON property you will need to take the bus to Magic Kingdom and then hop on the RESORT monorail to the Polynesian. If you’re driving you can just park in the Poly’s parking lot.
By the way, Stitch didn’t want to let him go!!
