Let’s face it; Walt Disney World can be quite overwhelming. We all love it but if you don’t play your cards right, you could exhaust yourself pretty quickly. With the Walt Disney World property being compared to the size of the city of San Francisco, coupled with the heat and humidity of Florida weather, Disney can quickly take you down. That’s why it’s important to keep yourself nourished and well hydrated!
Thankfully, there are many dining options throughout Walt Disney World for any taste, appetite, or budget! And if you’re staying on property at a Walt Disney Resort, you’ll have options right there within walking distance! Even if you’re not staying at a Walt Disney Resort, you are still able to visit any resort for any of their shopping or dining options!
The Art of Animation resort is an excellent option for families, or any one for that matter! It’s one of the most “Disney” themed resorts on property, with huge sculptures of some of your favorite Disney characters, and in my opinion, it has the best pool! And for families with kids or picky eaters, the Landscape of Flavors is a great dining option!
Landscapes of Flavors is a quick service restaurant and will satisfy that appetite but with reasonable prices! Now let’s be honest, this isn’t a 5 star high end gourmet experience. It’s a food court. So keep let’s keep it in perspective, but none the less, it’s a great place to grab a quick but tasty meal!
You’ll have options such as pizzas, burgers, salads, sandwiches, and pastas. The pizzas are pretty good and in terms of cost, are pretty comparable to what you’d probably pay back home for a large pizza. You can also buy pizza by the slice, but that may not be as good of a value. There’s also pasta options, including a create your own option with proteins such as chicken or shrimp. For burger options, you can expect your traditional burgers as well as chicken, vegetable, or even crab burgers. They have salads that can be customized as well turkey sandwiches. There are also typical sides that you’d expect with any of these entrées including bread sticks, house made chips, coleslaw, pasta salad, you name it. And don’t forget the kid’s menu which includes grilled cheese sandwiches and chicken strips! And don’t forget dessert! There are many yummy options including Mickey cupcakes!
Landscape of Flavors also serves breakfast, which I highly recommend! I don’t say that because there’s anything special about their breakfast, just that breakfast is important; especially at Disney World! Spend one day eating breakfast before you get started and then another day without breakfast and you’ll quickly see what I mean. Landscape of Flavor’s breakfast is pretty standard but delicious none the less. You’ll find all your standard breakfast items such as omelets, French toast, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, sausage, bacon, and who can resist Mickey waffles? Just trust me on this one, even if you don’t do it at Landscape of Flavors, start your day with a hearty breakfast!
The décor is reflective of the resort itself. You’ll find inspirations from some of your favorite Disney movies including The Lion King, Finding Nemo, and Cars! It’s a great way to relax, but also stimulate your child’s mind! See if they can identify the movie represented in the different areas! It’s not always as obvious as you may think!
If you have a dining plan, you’ll be able to use your quick service and snack credits here, as well as filling up your refillable mug! There are several great beverage choices as well! So there you have it! My take on Landscape of Flavors! I recommend you give it a try!
