In today’s society, one of the accessories you have to consider on is your face mask! My family just got back from our long-awaited trip to Walt Disney World, and for the first time, had to plan ahead for our facial coverings. From fabric to color, design and fit- there were so many things to think about when we packed! Traveling with kids that are 2 and 4 made it even more of a challenge to find the right mask to fit their faces as well as ours! 
On our trip, we tried out the handmade masks from Happy Thoughts Crafting Co. This Canadian based Instagram page has tons of really great options for Disney (and non-Disney) masks, mask necklaces, scrunchies and more! She has a wide variety of different Disney prints, with a little bit of everything for all types of Disney lovers! I especially appreciate that she includes some of the more underrepresented characters such as Aristocats and Lilo and Sitch! She also has a lot of great patterns that have various characters or Disney-themed treats on them as well. 
On our trip, we tried out two different sizes of her masks. I wore a size teen/adult and for my 4 year old we ordered the little kid size. It was hard to choose which prints we wanted, but my son has recently gotten really in to superheroes and the Avengers so we went with that for his mask! I have a huge soft spot for Stitch and saw that there were several Stitch fabric options to choose from so went with that! Both masks came with the adjustable ear loops and a moldable nose piece on the top which were both super helpful! The first thing I noticed about these masks was the shape. They are shaped so nicely to ensure full coverage on your face, with the extra triangle shaped fabric on the top and bottom. This was extremely helpful when we were on thrill rides at Walt Disney World! Disney’s policy right now is that in order to receive your ride photos, everyone pictured must be wearing their face coverings properly, and with these masks it was never a concerned, even with my 4 year old! We always did masks checks right before the photos happened and never had any issues.
The mask material is a standard cotton fabric, and the ear loops are made of a soft elastic material. They are very comfortable and we found them easy to breathe in, even with the 85 degree weather in Florida the week we were there! This mask was easily my 4 year old’s favorite mask the whole week. I think it was mostly because it fit him perfectly, but also because it was comfortable enough for him to wear it all day with no fuss! I would definitely recommend these masks to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable Disney themed mask! They are so unique in the prints that they have to offer, and as an added bonus you can support a small business with your purchase!
