One of the greatest perks of staying on property at Disney World is the Magic Hours. For those who don’t know what Magic Hours are, this is when certain parks open one hour early or stay open 2-3 hours later and only guests staying on Disney property are allowed entrance during these times. Keep in mind you MUST show your room key card in order to enter the park or attend one of these special events. Different parks have different events during the Magic Hours and one we enjoyed was the Dance Party at Hollywood Studios located in the Disney Jr. Live attraction area.
When we first arrived, Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates was on the dance floor but he left shortly after we got there. Then Pluto, Goofy, Minnie and Mickey came out to dance. On stage was a DJ spinning favorite Disney tunes. There is also a balloon artist who will take requests and can make anything from a tiara to a pirate sword. My son chose the Mickey ears. Naturally I had to try them on.
This is a fun and upbeat activity that guests of all ages are invited to attend. Of course I think the toddlers are the ones who truly enjoy being able to dance with their favorite characters and listen to their favorite Disney music!
