Last Wednesday, I talked about Dining outside around Deck 9 on the Disney Wonder. But what if you want an even wider variety?
The Beach Blanket Buffet is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Hours vary for each meal, so check out the Disney Cruise Line daily newsletter, the Personal Navigator, each day for specifics.
Located aft on Deck 9, enter the buffet on either the Port or Starboard side, and go left or right, each side has identical offerings.
Breakfast offerings may include scrambled eggs, made to order omelettes, Mickey waffles, pancakes, sausage, bacon, a variety of cereals, including my absolute favorite, Muesli, fresh fruit, bagels, cold cuts, lox, donuts, and other sweet treats such as another favorite, chocolate croissants, juices and coffee.
As for dinner, my wife and I stuck with our Main Dining restaurants, but according to the the Disney Cruise Line website, Beach Blanket Buffet transforms from a normal buffet into a more elegant affair. Choose your appetizer from the buffet, and your server will deliver your main course, which includes selections from the Main Dining restaurants, to your linen table cloth bedecked table.
Seating is limited inside, especially on rainy, or cold (as was the case on our Alaskan cruise) days. Cast Members will help you find a table if needed, or you may choose to share a table, which we did one day, a chance to meet new and interesting people.
Nick is co-writer of the Disney Musings Blog with his wife, Barbie.
I googled chocolate croissants on the Disney Wonder it brought me to the page.
