Happy days-it’s SUMMER!!  I don’t know about you, but this year has certainly taken a toll on our spirits.  Our school district has jumped back and forth between remote and full in-person classes all year.  And while we were able to successfully roll with work and academic requirements, the constant uncertainty of “what’s next” left us feeling stressfully uncertain.  But we made it!  We can now breath a little easier and enjoy the day a little bit more.  And in an odd turn, I find we are all walking a little taller.

I think this year has taught us all that we are more than we believed, despite the world placing us all in our own bubbles.  We are capable of accomplishing bigger things with smaller resources. And we are now all ready to break out and celebrate these accomplishments.

This year, the Disney Travel Company has faced many of the same struggles as our own families (just on a grander scale!).  But in true fashion, they have reminded us of just how creative they can be.  As a company, Disney has adjusted in-person and virtual entertainment and found a way to walk with us through the lock-downs and regulated travel environment.  And now they are ready to break out!

There have been some amazing announcements this month concerning changes to Covid policies, a return to some “normal” experiences, and most excitingly, announcements for this year’s 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION.  Follow along below for a break down of what is new this month with the Disney Travel Company.

During the past year, I had come to dread writing each month’s update article.  There were many months when the gloom of cancelations, suspensions, and paused activities brought a heavy weight with them.  I feel the tide turning and once again excited to post these monthly updates.

On another note, I would like to take a second to thank all of you that checked in or offered support for our family.  I can gratefully say that my husband has recently returned from what will hopefully be his last full year military deployment.  We are all back under one roof, healthy, and preparing for our next vacation…with Magic Kingdom fireworks on the schedule!  Have a great month everyone and be sure to remember All for Dreams Travel with Gateway to Magic Travel for your vacation planning needs.
