“Do you know of any restaurants or gift shops in the parks or in Downtown Disney that have coupons, discounts or take AAA? I know some used to give a AAA discount.”
Nick, the Disney Devo (tee) has answers:
After calling AAA today to make sure my information was up to date, and they told me that AAA offers discounted vacation packages, which include discounts on resorts, theme park tickets and dining plans, but no discounts are offered to AAA members at shops and restaurants individually.
The package also includes special vouchers for viewing firework shows, which require a reservation. There are black-out dates, however.
The best way to get discounts is by either being an Annual Passholder or a Disney Visa card. By having one of those two you can get up to 10% off discounts on gift shop purchases and you also earn “Disney Dollars” on your purchases with the Disney Visa.
