Tickets for the 2022 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) will be on sale soon, are you planning on attending this year?
Purchasing early will save you a few dollars along with Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members receive an early purchase discount as well. Some nights are priced cheaper than others, which is why Military Diva says to attend during the week, cheaper and less crowded! Halloween will be the most crowded and most expensive!
Also, remember the Magic Kingdom will close early on parties nights so if you are not attending MNSSHP you will have to leave the park at 6 pm. Jolly Frogger Diva wants to remind those who attend you can enter the park as early as 4 pm with your party ticket. In the past, DVC members could enter as early as 2 pm, which was an additional bonus perk for some extra ride time before the party starts. FastPass+ is not offered during MNSSHP and will not be offered past 6 pm. Pixie Dusted Diva likes to spend her party days as down (non park) days so her family can get lots of rest to make the most of the party.

I’ve asked my fellow Divas for tips for attending Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
Soarin’ Diva’s best tip is to prioritize what you want most for the party. There’s not enough time to do everything. If you want to meet rare characters, line up for the top picks before the party starts (Seven Dwarves and Jack & Sally) because waiting for them can eat a lot of time out of your party time. The best time to trick or treat is toward the end of the party, they give more candy in your bag toward the end. You can usually find the party map online with character locations so you can map out your route ahead of time! You can find Soarin’ Diva’s why Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Is a Frightfully Good Time.
Wishes Diva agrees and says to get in line early for the special characters like the Dwarves and Jack & Sally!! Try to catch whichever character you want most at the beginning of their first appearance time.
Disney Magic Diva suggests if you decide to dress up (and you should- it’s fun!) choose wisely. What’s nice for a crisp fall evening at home may not be the best choice for tropical Florida. Sweltering in your costume is definitely a little too scary! Character Diva shares her super cute Jasmine and Aladdin Costume ideas here.
