I don’t know about your family, but I think mine could live on pizza. We have our favorite pizza places at home, and several at various cities we visit regularly when traveling to see family around the country. But we had never found a favorite pizza place at Walt Disney World Resort. (I know many people love via Napoli at Epcot, and you can read a review here, but it was never really a favorite for our family.) So we were really excited to try Disney’s newest pizza restaurant, Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza, at Disney Springs. And I’m happy to report that we now have a “go-to” restaurant for our pizza “fix” when we visit Disney World.
Watch your pizza made right before your eyes!
We visited around 8:30 on a Saturday night, and the line was out the door. I was a little skeptical about how long we’d be forced to wait, but I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly we had pizza in our hands. While still in line outside, we were greeted by a Blaze Pizza employee who offered us a menu and explained the ordering process. Think of it as a Subway for pizza. You have a choice of various doughs (original, high-rise, gluten-free), sauces, cheeses, and dozens and dozens of fresh ingredients. You choose what you want and your custom made pizza is passed along the counter, getting made just the way you want, right before your eyes. And the best part? Pile as many ingredients as you want on your 11” pizza, because it’s all included in the price!
There are also several signature pizzas which have designated toppings if you are feeling overwhelmed or just can’t decide. Meat Eater, Veg Out, BBQ Chkn – all pretty self explanatory. But there’s also “Red Vine” (ovalini mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, parmesan, basil, red sauce, olive oil drizzle); “Link In” (sausage, red peppers, sautéed onions, mozzarella, red sauce); “Green Stripe” (pesto drizzle over chicken, red peppers, garlic, mozzarella, arugula); and “White Top” (white cream sauce, bacon, mozzarella, garlic, oregano, arugula). Hungry yet?

Diva Tip: If you have some dietary restrictions, or are counting calories, don’t shy away from trying Blaze Pizza. They are very happy to help you out with your selections, and the calories for every single item are listed on the menu.
Once your pizza is assembled, it’s “fast fire’d” in their “blazing hot ovens.” And they mean FAST! Although you’re given a pager to let you know when your pizza is ready, you’ll hardly get a chance to step away from the counter, because your pizza will be cooked to perfection in 3 minutes! From the promotion materials I had read about Blaze Pizza, I knew they claimed to have your pizza baked in 180 seconds, but given the crowded restaurant, I was doubtful. I was wrong! I had barely had a chance to fill by drink cup, and my pager went off. Time to eat!
My pizza was incredibly delicious! The crust is thin, but airy and light. It had just the right amount of sauce. Not overpowering, but enough to give the pizza a little zest. The toppings were all fresh and plentiful. It was easily enough to share, although you may not want to! It was seriously yummy!
Blaze Pizza also offers salads and desserts, although we didn’t get to try any. On our next visit, though, I’m going to definitely be ready to try some. S’more Pie sounds too good to pass up a second time. Likewise, there is a wide selection of soft drinks – soda, tea, agua fresca, and lemonade – as well as bottled or draft beer and wine. They offer a kids’ menu as well, with cheese or 1-toppping pizzas; apple juice or milk; and a fruit pack, s’more pie, cookie, or brownie. If you’re on a Disney dining plan, you’ll be happy to know Blaze Pizza qualifies as a quick-service meal, otherwise pizzas are very reasonably priced at just under $10.
Located in Town Center of Disney Springs, Blaze Pizza is just a quick 3 minute walk from the Disney bus transportation stop. Even on a busy Saturday evening, we had little trouble finding a table. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. The tables are wooden with benches and stools that are easily moved to accommodate any size party.
