Every little girl dreams of becoming a princess and at Walt Disney World dreams do come do!
At Walt Disney World you have two Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (BBB) locations where girls are magically transformed into princesses by their very own fairy godmother in training. There is even a package available for boys to become a prince (or knight!)
The Downtown Disney location is located in the World of Disney store and the Magic Kingdom location is located inside Cinderella’s Castle. Both locations will give you the same experience; however I found the Magic Kingdom location to be less hectic and overwhelming for my little one. Not to mention you are actually inside Cinderella’s Castle in the Magic Kingdom!
Princesses (or us parents) can choose from three packages which are the coach/crown package, the castle package or the courtyard package. The most basic package also known as the coach package includes your choice of one of four hairstyles, makeup, a pink princess sash, face jewels and princess tote. The only difference between the coach and crown package is the crown package includes sparkling nail polish. The first time my daughter had her appointment she chose not to have her nails painted. A year later at h
er second appointment, she chose to have her nails painted which was a glittery silver used for all girls. You do get to keep the make-up and nail polish bottle at the end.
Diva Tip: Feel free to purchase a princess dress before your trip and bring it to your appointment. We sometimes purchase a dress at the Disney store during a sale or a Disney Parks dress using one of our discounts (Annual Pass or Disney Visa), as Bibbidi Bobbidi does not accept any discounts on services or merchandise.
Upgrade t
o the castle package and you will have your choice of a Disney princess costume with coordinating wand and crown accessories and an imaging package. The imaging package includes one 6×8” print and four 4×6” photos and everything included in the crown package.
The courtyard package includes a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique T-shirt, tutu and everything included in the crown package.
The experience begins at check in when the Princess is given their invitation.
A fairy godmother will call the Princess back to a dressing room to get dressed. If you purchased a dress with your package it will be waiting in your dressing room. If you brought your own dress with you, you will still be able to get dressed in the dressing room.

er dressing, the princesses return to the waiting area. Once ready, the fairy godmother calls the princess back to the chair to begin the transformation.
Diva Tip: If you are having a celebration such as a birthday make sure you note it on your reservation, but also mention it at check in. There is a different pink sash given for birthdays and they will give the princess a birthday button as well to attach to the sash.
The fairy godmothers in training go above and beyond to make your princess feel special and prepare for the big reveal when the transformation is complete. You will have the optio
n of choosing your hairstyle. They do use a lot of hair product so chances are your hairstyle will stay all day. Our appointments are typically before a special dinner and we do not go in the pool so it lasts overnight. I typically book a spe
cial dinner and breakfast so we get good use out of princess makeover! One year we had dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table and breakfast at Akershus the next morning. The hair held up overnight with a few minor touch-ups in the morning.
Photopass photographers are available during the experience to capture the memories so you can sit back and watch the transformation take place. (Another perk of purchasing Memory Maker as you will get all the pictures!)
After your princess makeover is complete head across the way to the Castle Couture gift shop for a photo shoot with Disney’s Photopass photographers.
Diva Tip: You do not have to purchase the castle package with the imaging package in order to have the photo shoot. You don’t even have to have a BBB appointment to have a photo shoot either!
On our last trip, I had my younger daughter join in afterwards for some pictures with my older daughter who had completed her BBB appointment. These pictures will be scanned on your magic band or photopass card so you do not have to purchase any of them at that time.
Appointments are required and can be made 180 days in advance by calling 1-407-WDW-STYLE. Book early as these appointments do sell out fast.
