Walt Disney World is the “Happiest Place on Earth”. But…when you entertain millions of guests each year; unfortunately that laughter does sometimes turn into tears…….
A valuable lesson: When in America, do as the Americans do…….
British people will grumble, gripe & grouse to one another; but more often than not won’t actually make any complaints!
An absolute age will be spent mithering (fussing) about a given situation, however normally most of us don’t deal with an issue right as it’s happening. Of course this isn’t because we don’t know how to complain – it comes as a result of not wishing to cause any unnecessary drama, draw attention to ourselves or heaven forbid; cause any embarrassment!
A great deal can be learnt from observing our American cousins…..they notify their hosts immediately of any concerns with the standard of a meal, the service, or the accommodation etc..etc..
If you have received anything less than you expected from Disney’s legendary flawless service, attention to detail or you just haven’t been impressed by the normally impeccable skills of Mousekeeping; then you MUST let a Cast Member know – pronto.
The majority of Cast Members love Disney & adore their jobs; most will genuinely go out of their way to make your stay completely magical; just as Walt intended!

The Manager will return your call. In my experience Disney management welcomes your feedback and will be happy to swiftly resolve any genuine issues.

Hi Jonathan, That would be a question to ask Disney’s legal department. Using the Disney name would most likely be a copyright infringement unless it is used with special permission, and even then, that would be a contract between Disney and the supplier. You could possibly make items that were similar, but I am assuming anything that specifically mentioned Disney would be a copyright infringement unless again, they had permission. I am not a lawyer, and as mentioned in the article, we are only a fan-based site, so the best way to answer your question would be to contact Disney’s Legal Department directly. Best wishes! ~The Tips from the Disney Divas & Devos Writing Team
Hi Angie, I talked to some of the other writers, and this is what Passholder Diva said. “Our annual passholder magnet fell off in a bad storm as we were driving to Disney in January. I called and was eventually transferred to someone who sent me a replacement. It took a few weeks to arrive. I don’t remember the number I called, but it was probably the passholder services one listed on the Disney site: 888-701-4100.” I hope that number works for you! Best of luck! ~Character Diva
Fast track is great if you can get one, however when you can’t it’s terrible that you have to wait in line 2 to 3 hours when you see over 700 people go through fast track. Our wait was 145 minutes at the time we got in line. Ridiculous, unfair, exclusive and punitive. We pay the same admission fee as them!! 11-20-17
Good morning Gail. May I ask if you are speaking about the Fast Pass system in Disney World or Disney MaxPass in Disneyland? I ask because Disney World’s Fast Pass is part of your admission-it does not require an extra purchase. The Disneyland MaxPass is an entirely different story though.
Answer to my other email. This happened in Disney World. Yes it’s the Fast Pass. I know how it works but the Disney App has glitches and would drop the number in our party or not show up at all causing us to stand in lines for hours. As soon as we retried to rebook it was too late the time slots were full. Making everyone in our party unhappy causing my grandkids not to want to come back!
Gail, I’m sorry you had difficult with the My Disney Experience app while on vacation. Here at Tips from the Disney Diva we offer tips and advice to help you have a magical vacation, but are not connected directly with Disney in any way. In the future, may we suggest you take screen shots of your FastPass+ reservations that you made in advance or the Front Desk of your resort can provide you with a print out. While the app may have glitches, you usually do not lose any reservations you made in advance and can speak to a Cast Member at Guest Services if you are experiences these types of problems. Thanks!
waiting for reply to my complaint that I have with my stay at Disney land paris with my grandchildren
Good morning t begin, please know that Tips from the Disney Diva is a fan based blog. We are not affiliated or employed by the Disney company in any way. We are here to offer advice and tips based on our own personal experiences. That being said, if you are awaiting a response directly from Disney it will not come from us. You will want to follow up in the manner you first contact them, either by email or phone if you are not receiving a timely response. Thanks!
Hello Gail we just went to the magic kingdom this week went on 3 rides the whole day there fastpass system does not work had one and still would of had a 45 min wait save your money go to universal take the extra money buy a express pass 15 min for almost every ride
Hi~ I’m not sure who Gail is that you are trying to reach, but we are not associated directly with Disney. You can contact Disney direct by email to let them know your concerns with the FastPass+ system. Thank you!
My granddaughters are 7 & 5 years old. Last thing their dad wanted to do before he deployed to Iran ( in Military ) was to take his family to Disneyworld in Florida. Granddaughters were so excited! Soon as they got there they each got a book and was excited to get signatures of their favorite Disney characters. Down there for 5 days and not one signature. A lot of tears!! I remember when we took their mother and brother to Disneyland in 1995 characters were all over Disneyland, lots of signatures and pictures with the characters. When did you start making schedules to see characters? Son in law was very disappointed also because saw how excited the girls were to see characters☹️
Good morning and thank you for contacting Tips from the Disney Divas. I am so sorry your family was disappointed with your Disney World vacation. Please let me begin by saying that we are a private page that is not associated with the Disney Travel Company. We are individual travelers, experts and planners that offer our time to help other Disney guests. While we love Disney, we have no impact or say in their policies.
That being said, there are many places to meet characters in the Disney World Parks. Many characters are available at park opening and there are several character spots within each park. Guests do not need to schedule meeting times unless utilizing a Fast Pass or choosing a character meal. If you ever travel in the future, please consider using a travel agency specialized in Disney Vacations, such as All for Dreams Travel. They can certainly help you make all your vacation plans a reality.
Dear Sir,
I was so looking forward to taking my 7 grandchildren to your park and especially to see a model of their president on your platform speaking to them. They were a greatly involved in the last election and as a reward I am taking them to see “him” speak.
Now I am hearing you have been cowed into removing his speech.
Please tell me that is not true! Surely you have more backbone then that! We have planned our trip for the first week in June and will await your answer.
Sincerely yours,
Marsha Ingersoll
Good morning Marsha. To begin, please know that Tips from the Disney Diva is a fan based blog. We are not affiliated or employed by the Disney company in any way. We are here to offer advice and tips based on our own personal experiences. That being said, like you, I truly hope Disney does not allow history to be altered by our current political environment either. Have a wonderful vacation and enjoy your time with your 7 grandchildren!
New Years 2028 Eve at EPCOT’ parking lots were a total unsupervised gridlock where guests were forced to sit in their cars, with no moving until 3 am to 4 am. on New Year 2018 Day….
DISNEY’S PEOPLE MOVING TECHNICIANS HAD, TOTALLY, SELF DESTRUCTED!!!
All exits were blocked! There was no forward motion by the guests vehicles.. There were no Disney Transportation Staff anywhere to be seen, guests were left to their own ingenuity to figure a manner to exit the Epcot parking lots… and there were 100s, if not 1000s of guests spending the first hours of the new year, in Epcot’s parking lot.
12:00 pm AT EPCOT TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING WAS A TOTAL COLLAPSE FOR GUESTS WHO SIMPLY WANTED TO GO HOME, AFTER AN ENJOYABLE EVENING AT DISNEY WORLD’S EPCOT!! BECAUSE OF POOR PLANNING FOR THE EXIT OF GUESTS, FOLLOWING THE NEW YEAR/2018 CELEBRATION…
THE ENTRANCE WAYS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE EXIT WAYS, THE ROAD CONES DESIGNED FOR ENTRANCE TRAFFIC SHOULD HAVE BEEN REVERSED TO MAKE SPACE FOR EXITING GUESTS….THE BLOCKS(ROAD CONES) LEFT IN PLACE BY DISNEY STAFF TO GUIDE INCOMING GUESTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN REMOVED SO THE MASSIVE CROWD OF EXITING GUESTS COULD USE THIS PATH TO EXIT THEIR GUESTS’.. AND THE STAFF SHOULD HAVE BEEN PRESENT, EVERYWHERE, TO FACILITATE GUESTS’ EXITS….
AFTER EVERY MAJOR EVENT, DISNEY IS CONFRONTED WITH THE MAJOR JOB OF PLANNING OF MOVING GUESTS FROM THE PARKS AND ONTO THE HIGHWAYS TO THEIR DESTINATIONS…
RT 417 IS A MAJOR HIGHWAY THAT GUESTS CAN USE, BEYOND I-4, AND YET THERE ARE FEW SIGNS THAT RT 417 DOES EXIST/CONNECT TO THE DISNEY SIGNS AS A DESTINATION PATH OUT OF THE PARKS…BEYOND I-4?? THE PRESENT PATHS OUT OF DISNEY WORLD REPORT TO I-4, WITH NO MENTION OF THE EXISTENCE OF TOLL ROUTE 417….
Sorry to hear the parking lot was crazy, this is such a peak time to visit. As you know we are a group of writers who offers tips for visiting Disney Parks, not associated with Disney so while your comment will help others who travel in the future we are not associated with Disney directly. Thanks!
The new fast pass+ system is a disaster. You have returned to the 1970’s with your stupid tier system! When the original fast pass system came out it worked very well, a few tweaks over time improved it even more. Then move to the present . Get one top level pass ,then only one lower level, then one even lower. Remember e tickets to d tickets etc. that is where we are at again. We have been to Disney world over 30 times since 1984, DVD members since 1992. You made your reservation, and Disney took care of the rest. Now you have to own a 1000 dollar I phone to make ride reservations on an app that is down more than available, or wait for hours for a 3 minute ride. Great news we can now do all the work on line! So Disney can fire half their work force, and we can not get away from the real world of computer madness. We will never return to a Disney theme park again, and we are not the only one’s who feel this way. Talk to anyone who has been there since this wonderful system began, I know Disney could care less about us, but as people stop returning, and warning everyone they know maybe some things will change, but I doubt it. What a shame, the Disney family members must be about what has happened to Walt’s dream!
I’m sorry you had some trouble with the FastPass+ system, we do have some helpful articles about how to use the system and making your reservations. As you may know we are a group of Disney fans who write tips and tricks based on our own experiences, we are not associated or employed directly by Disney. Thanks!
Saw this was posted on 2013. Is there email to make a complaint or make a cm shine still wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com ?
Yes! You can also Tweet #CastCompliment to @WDWToday on Twitter your Cast Member Compliments.
Thank you so much for the information! 🙂
I have been a big Disney fan for the past 50 years and been to DW many times, when I seen your President Trump in the Hall of Presidents I was very disappointed in the work that Disney did on him, Disney always does amazing work, but this time you failed. Out of respect for our President, you need to redo him, if you can make rest of the President look real so you can make President Trump look real.
Thank you
Thank you for sharing your comments with us. Please remember we are only a fan based site, our writers have contacted Disney directly at this email guest.services@disneyworld.com to express their concerns over the parking fee as well. Some have been contacted by Disney directly based on the emails sent so I would email Disney directly if you have strong feelings about anything related to Disney. Thank you!

And I’m one of them people I’m taking two days off which is the weekend I work 7 days a week but I’m taking 2 days off my weekend job to do this for my granddaughter so I’m having to save some of my income tax to take her to Disney World! We will be there one day come back home and then I have to take her all the way back to her house!!! You need to come down on your price is y’all are about money not your customers you do not care about the people that come visit your part you care about money money money that’s all it’s about!!!! Y’all should be ashamed of yourself especially as hard as times are nowadays!!!! There is a lot of single parents out there!!!! Oh and I didn’t mention the merchandise y’all have out there in your little village that cost an arm and a leg also that I obviously want to buy one or two items for my granddaughter obviously they’re going to cost an arm and a leg to but like I said it’s not about the customers to y’all it’s about money money money money money that’s all y’all see mr. My credit card was stolen and was being used in the Disney World Marketplace. What safety precautions are in place for identity theft? My card was used at several Disney dining places.
