Welcome to our new Tasty Tuesday’s series! We are adding a second article on Tuesdays to help you plan your upcoming Disney vacation!

This baseball-themed food spot is a perfect place for a quick service lunch, not to mention a great spot for an afternoon parade!
Located at the junction Main Street and the beginning of “The Hub” at Magic Kingdom, it’s relatively hard to miss! This adorable, old-fashioned red and white eatery, serves up the “All American” jumbo hot dogs, chili cheese dogs, fries, ball park nachos, and corn dog nuggets (my favorite) vacationers can’t get enough of! The Disney Diva swears they must put crack or something in them because they’re so deliciously addictive you’ll find yourself driving down the street weeks (or months) after your vacation craving a Casey’s hotdog! There is a great fixings bar, but many of the new “deluxe dogs” will have every topping you could possible want on them. Beware though, the “pump-able” cheese is VERY HOT and can burn you or your little ones if it spills on you or if you don’t give it adequate time to cool off.
There is a lovely outdoor seating area supplied with round tables with umbrellas to help shade you from the bright Florida sun. However, if you do prefer to dine inside (or AIR-CONDITIONING) there is room with bleacher-style seating which faces large projection screen showing Disney sports-themed cartoons.
Outside you will be sure to notice all the ducks just waiting to catch any dropped fries, it can be entertaining for little ones to watch. Also outside there is a wonderful piano player to keep you even more entertained as you munch your lunch or dinner.
A definite perk to eating here is that it’s right on the parade route on Main Street, which is why we usually eat outside. It can get very busy though around lunch and parade time with everyone lining up and trying to get a seat. So I suggest getting a sea for the parade about 45 minutes early especially if you want to get a table with an umbrella for your little ones.
Another great thing about Casey’s Corner is the way they serve their fries and corn dog nuggets. They come in cups that I have found fit perfectly into a cupholder on a stroller, and their so easy to eat on the go. So you can grab some of their great food and be hands free and keep on going so your sure not to miss any of the Disney excitement!
Fair warning though, Casey’s Corner can turn into a ZOO at meal times (example 12pm, 5pm, 7pm). Its crowded and the order/pick up area is a bit of a logistical nightmare. I suggest sending one, calm and rational, person in to place your order and wait to pick it up while the rest of you wait somewhere for the food to be brought to you as you will NOT want to add to the chaos. Also, don’t bring your stroller in here. Its too small of an area and people will get grumpy with you!
