R.S.V.P, you are invited to a head turning celebration – in a cup of tea. For any fan of “Alice in Wonderland” this ride is absolutely splendid. Under a brightly colored canopy lies an equally colorful round of giant tea cups fit to sit a small family or group of about 4 adults/teens. These teacups whirl around, sometimes faster than the White Rabbit shouting, “I’m late, I’m late for a very important date!”

There is hardly a scream factor unless someone in your party spins the middle wheel like crazy. My 7 year old enjoyed maneuvering the middle spinning wheel with fury. If you are prone to motion sickness, get dizzy or faint easily, this ride will drive you MAD (not recommended for those with motion sickness or pregnant women – children under 7 years old much be accompanied by an adult)

Honorary hosts, the Mad Hatter himself, Alice or the White Rabbit make an appearance throughout the day to party and even join “in” a cup of tea with some lucky guests. Our family was not so fortunate to have the hosts join in our cup of tea, however the “Alice in Wonderland” characters are available for autographs and pictures in front of the MAD TEA PARTY ride.

Beside the MAD TEA PARTY is a lovely, small garden of Alice and Friends topiary which will surely make you feel like you’re in a “wonder”-ful English garden. Brilliant!!

Scream factor: 1 unless you have someone in your party who spins the wheel like mad.
Height Requirements: none, but children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult
Wheelchair accessible, must transfer by Cast Member to board.

Diva Tip: ride in the morning, especially during Extra Magic Hours. This is a “slow loading ride” so lines can get very long when there are heavy crowd levels. Avoid if you get motion sick and never ride right after you’ve eaten.
